Applicants for a new passport must present one passport photo on plain white, 8 1/2 x 11" standard paper stock. The photo must be taken specifically for the passport and should not be from a family snapshot or a school portrait. Eyeglasses are not acceptable in the passport photo.

The passport must be valid for a minimum of 6 months from the date of entry and it must have a minimum of 2 blank visa pages available for use. If the passport is set to expire in a shorter period of time or has already run out of visa pages, it must be replaced before entering the country.
