A Guide Pelangiqq
May 08, 2020
When you think of the Barrie, Ontario area, the first place that
probably comes to mind is, of course, the Pelangi Quay area. This is where most
tourists enter the area, and the pier itself is often the first point of
reference for visitors when thinking about visiting the rest of the town.
However, for most visitors, the Pier will likely be only the
beginning of what they see in Barrie, Ontario. When you visit the town, don't
be surprised if you are taken by surprise with a panoply of restaurants, pubs,
clubs, and entertainment options for all tastes and personalities. For tourists
who plan on staying in the city for some time, this is probably the best way to
enjoy yourself while enjoying the attractions that the area has to offer.
If you're looking for an area to eat, you'll find that the
fishing villages of the Pelangiqq have much to offer. These villages are
located within the old dock area on the waterfront. While fishing village
dishes aren't your typical barbecue and hamburgers, it is the culture that one
finds in these villages that is what many people take away from them. There is
a lot to enjoy while exploring these villages, whether you want to eat an
amazing seafood soup or visit a local street market for some great Chinese
goods.
The nearby fishing village called Anstey Bay offers locals and
tourists alike the opportunity to see the many kinds of sea creatures that can
be found in the area. The local fishermen offer tours of their catches of the
day. Their tours of the day often end with the local residents offering a
variety of sea foods, and a couple of adults will likely have to order in order
to finish the meal.
If you want to try some seafood but don't like the taste of
fresh fish, don't worry; there are plenty of places to eat the same dish and
get a little flavor from the various seafood that the community harvests. While
the main street of Anstey Bay is busy with shoppers, tourists, and fishermen, a
small corner on one side of the street is reserved for specialty seafood shops.
For those who like the taste of fresh seafood, there is a lot of variety in the
seafood shops in the Pelangi Qq.
Of course, if you're looking for entertainment, then the Pelangi
Qq has a wide range of entertainment for everyone. In the town itself, there
are plenty of museums and art galleries that visitors can visit. Outside of the
town, the Town Square offers the opportunity to see a combination of activities
that includes traditional Indian dances, outdoor theatre performances, and also
the famous Chinese ballrooms. There is something to look forward to for
everyone, no matter what you prefer to do.
Another unique aspect of the Pelangi Qq is that there are no
malls here. The only places that have stores within the area are the local
pubs, dance halls, and clubs. While some of these establishments will have
limited merchandise, there are other places that you can find even more unique
items. If you want to shop, then you won't be disappointed with what is
available at the pubs or dance halls in the town.
Visiting the Pelangi Qq is a great way to get to know the area
and its people. Whether you're visiting for a week or longer, you are sure to
find something interesting to do in the area. You can stop into a pub, dance
club, or a Chinese restaurant to enjoy the warmth of the village atmosphere or
you can stop by a fishmonger or seafood market to find great prices on just
about anything you want to buy.
